This city, which is on an island connected to the mainland, has a total of 42 beaches, most of which are bathed by crystal blue waters from the Atlantic Ocean. This island is a delicious slice of paradise with over 520 Km2 (200 sq mi) of green hills, lagoons and beaches. The weather in the region is subtropical, with four well-defined seasons during the year. The symposium will take place during the spring, when the temperature should be between 20 and 30C (68 to 86F).
