The Multiagent Systems Lab. at the Institute of Informatics at UFRGS brings together full and associated professors, PhD, Master, and undergraduate students interested in basic research on agents and multiagent systems (MAS), as well as in applications of these technologies in areas such as transportation, traffic simulation and control, bioinformatics, machine learning, and swarm intelligence, among others.

We are one of the largest and oldest MAS groups in Brazil and in South America, leading several projects and advising Master and PhD theses.
