I am a Postdoctoral in Computer Science at the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. I received a PhD degree (2011) in Computer Science from the Computer Networks Group of the UFRGS. I have been a visiting student at the Computer Networking Group at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa, Italy. I hold a MSc degree (2003) in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, (PUC-RS). I am also an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Informatics of the University of Santa Cruz do Sul (UNISC), Brazil. I develop research projects on wireless networks, quality of services, next generation networks, and traffic control on broadband computer networks.
