I am currently a Ph.D. student (2009-2012) at the University of Grenoble (France) under the supervision of Christian Boitet and of Aline Villavicencio. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and a Master's degree from the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP - ENSIMAG). My current research focuses on multilingual lexical acquisition for Natural Language Processing applications. I have been working in the general field of Natural Language Processing since 2006: my previous working experiences include internships at the NLP group at UFRGS, the Cross-Language Technologies group at XRCE and and the GETALP group at the LIG, where I currently hold a Ph.D. position. My main topics of interest are Lexical Acquisition, Machine Translation, Terminology, Multiword Expressions and Natural Language Learning.
