I am Ph.D. student of Computer Science at the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. I received a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from UFRGS in 1999, and a B.Sc. degree in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in 1995.

Currently I work on distributed network management using P2P technologies. My main research interests include distributed network management, cooperative network management, AI applied to network management and P2P computing.
