Jonatas is currently a Computer Science Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from September 2019 until July 2020 working with Kirill Levchenko at the Information Trust Institute. He holds a M.Sc. in Applied Computing (2017) and a B.S. with honours in Computer Science (2015) from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). His research interests include communication networks, network management, network monitoring, software defined networking, and data plane programmability.
