A Brief story about
me:
Roberto
da Silva was born in Mauá, São Paulo, Brazil. He received the B.S.
and Ph.D degrees in physics from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1998
and 2002, respectively. From 1998 to 2002, he worked in statistical
mechanics, mathematical physics, and computational physics where the most of
his papers are published in journals indexed by ISI-JCR.
Since 2003, he is Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil and has a CNPq fellow-ship supplied by his scientific productivity.
His research interests include, Numerical, analytical and statistical modeling of the
systems physically and biologically motivated, Statistical Mechanics methods in Computer Science,
Evolutionary Game Theory on graphs, Informetrics, Complex Networks
Properties, Analysis of noise fluctuations in semiconductor devices,
Econophysics.
