Short-Bio:
Ricardo Medel received Licentiate (1992) and Masters (2004) degrees in Computer Science from the National University of San Luis (Argentina) and a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (2007) from the Stevens Institute of Technology (New Jersey, USA). He worked 10 years as professor and researcher in formal methods for software development at the National University of Rio Cuarto. In 2006, after finishing his doctorate, he joined the Argentina Software Design Center (ASDC) of Intel in Cordoba (Argentina). He worked on the testing of the Intel ® XML Security Gateway and then was Technical Leader of the Intel® Cluster Checker, a tool developed for the Intel® Cluster Ready Program. Currently, he is responsible for the development of the High Performance Computing (HPC) Ecosystem in Latin America. In addition, he is a researcher at the National Technological University - Cordoba Campus.
