ER-2019 Conference Dinner will be in November 6th at 8pm in ‘Convento do Carmo’ Tonico Restaurant. It is in this space in the heart of Salvador’s historic centre that a piece of Brazil’s history is portrayed and where the signature of Brazilian Chef Dudu Prado takes us on a sensory journey through gastronomy’s finest offerings. The menu, specially created to attend the ER 2019, includes vegetarian options and will allow us to taste the multiple flavors of Bahia cuisine. Brazilian drinks and the finest Brazilian music compose this not to forget all-together evening.
The Convento do Carmo was funded in 1592 and is one of the biggest and more ancient convents in Brazil. Its impressive XVI baroque architecture, the historic furniture and collection of art, compose a exquisite atmosphere. Attached to it is the historical church “Igreja da Ordem Terceira do Carmo”. The original church, founded in 1636, burnt to the ground; the present neoclassical structure dates from 1828. The nave has a French organ and a baroque altar with a statue of NS Senhora do Carmo.
Full registration includes one ticket to the Conference Dinner. Additional tickets cost R$ 280.00 and can be bought in advance, since the number of participants is limited.
