The COMOD workshop is being introduced at this event as a new and timely initiative. It builds upon the successful tradition of related workshops previously held within the scope of the Brazilian Symposium on Databases – SBBD. The primary objective of COMOD is to further strengthen and expand the participation of the Brazilian database community in the ontology research landscape, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, collaboration, and the advancement of conceptual modelling grounded in ontological foundations.
