Poster Submissions

Call for Posters

Following revision and acceptance by the SVR committee, an oral presentation will be scheduled and published on the SVR1’6 website. Works with 2 (two) pages will be published in the conference electronic Proceedings. The theme of the poster must follow the conference orientation to promote new advances in research and technology in the areas of Virtual and Augmented Reality, including ongoing research work.

Poster authors are encouraged to submit a demo for the demo session.

Guidelines for Posters Submission

All papers must be sent in the JEMS system, using the track SVR 2016 - Posters. Works in English (preferable) and Portuguese will be accepted. The text must follow the same template used for the full papers submission, including:

  • Title: in capital letters, bold and centered, should be clear and concise, enabling easy identification of the poster content.
  • Authors: Name(s) and last name(s) of the author(s), with their institutional affiliation.
  • Summary: The text must necessarily explain the objective(s), main procedures adopted, most significant results and conclusions.
  • Introduction: contextualize the work to justify its importance.
  • Objective: To elucidate the research and work purposes.
  • Materials and Methods: Measurement units and symbols should follow the international system.
  • Results and Discussion: display charts, graphs, etc. In the discussion, compare the data obtained with the literature.
  • Conclusions: should be based on the results.
  • Thanks: if eligible, after the conclusions.
  • References: should only include those mentioned in the text, appearing in alphabetical order and the authors in capital letters.

Guidelines for Oral Presentation

At least one of the authors must be registered in SVR’16 conference. All accepted papers would be presented at the Symposium in a single session, through oral presentation. Information about the work acceptance will be communicated via electronic mail, using the e-mail provided on JEMS.

We emphasize that there is no financial support to cover expenses to present at the poster session.

Camera-ready Submissions

The final version of your paper must be submitted with the SBC Copyright Form.

The template has the Copyright Form written in english and in portuguese. It is not necessary to sign both. Authors must choose between one of the two no matter the language in which the draft was written.
