Who Am I?
I am a recent graduate in Computer Science looking for my place in the job market. Always had a good technical background, but today I seek more than that.
I attended elementary and secondary schools at the Military School of Porto Alegre (CMPA), a school that values excellence and competitiveness,
values that ended up being part of myself.
Then, I entered UFRGS' Institute of Informatics, at first place in the admission exam, and there I learned the scientific and technical bases of my area. I also worked at a Natural Language Processing laboratory there, advised by Professor Aline Villavicencio for about 3 years, working at multi-disciplinary projects in conjunction with the Linguistics and Psychology departments.
For a year and a half, I lived in Berlin, Germany, where I studied Informatik at TU-Berlin (Berlin Institute of Technology) and worked at T-Labs (Telekom Innovation Laboratories) .
My experience in Germany was a sobering experience, helping me notice and improve on certain failures, such as my arrogance. Upon returning, I completed my undergraduate course with "Láurea Acadêmica" (UFRGS' equivalent to Magna Cum Laude). In the last months, I've been working on some personal projects.
A complete list of courses I've taken and their grades can be seen at Qualifications.
