My background is performance analysis in the context of High Performance Computing (clusters of computers) where the execution time of parallel applications is the most important metric to be minimized. I have been involved also in some investigation regarding multi-objective criteria: execution time and energy consumption. I have a strong background in observation techniques, data manipulation (Data Wrangling), and data visualization with hand-tailored plots. I employ these techniques mostly in the context of parallel computer systems, although recently I started playing with different datasets from social sciences, public transportation, weather.
