CAS Student Chapter
The IEEE Student Branch at UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul) was created in 2008 by an initiative of professors of the Institute of Informatics and the Department of Electrical Engineering. Its primary goal is to bring the benefits of IEEE to UFRGS students, professors, professionals and the community.
The Branch is a non-profit sector within the IEEE organization subordinated to Student Section. The Branch board consists of graduate students and post-graduate students under the guidance of the University professors.
