Selection Process Master’s 2024/1

Registration for the Master's Degree in the Postgraduate Program in Computing at UFRGS is from December 1, 2023 until January 15, 2024.

The Postgraduate Program in Computing (PPGC) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) published the call for applications for the selection process for the Master’s Degree in Computer Science, with admission scheduled for March 2024. The PPGC notice No. 007/2023 establishes the conditions, deadlines, and procedures for selecting candidates for the course, offered publicly and free of charge.

The positions offered for the master’s degree course are distributed by line of research in proportion to the guidance capacity of the Postgraduate Program in Computing. For this notice, there is a limit of 100 positions. Candidates who wish to apply for positions related to Affirmative Actions must complete the self-declaration form available on the PPGC website.

Registrations will be made exclusively through the online registration system available on the PPGC website, and it is necessary to attach, through the registration system, files with scanned copies of the documents requested in the notice. Registration starts on December 1, 2023 and continues until January 15, 2024. Candidates exempt from the registration fee and those selected for the master’s degree (in the first and second call) will be announced via email and appear on the PPGC website. The final selection result will be announced on February 20, 2024.
