Objectives

Semantic automation and intelligent information retrieval are critical for scaling knowledge-driven systems across industrial units. The objective of this group is to research and develop methods that allow for the automated creation and instantiation of domain ontologies, enabling their reuse and scalability for different units in the industrial context. Furthermore, the group seeks to automate the generation of ontologies from descriptions of automation systems and databases, develop information retrieval techniques based on ontologies and knowledge graphs, and produce semantic queries applied to the use case, such as identifying the causes of anomalies in the production process.
