I am an Associate Professor at the Institute of Informatics (Inf) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in Brazil. I hold a PhD (2017) and an MSC (2013) degree in computer science from the Institute of Informatics of UFRGS; and a bachelor degree (2010) in computer engineering from the Center of Computer Sciences of Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). I am a member of the Phi-Robotics Research Group.

My current research interest is Mobile Robotics, focusing on Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) and Integrated Exploration.
