IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Awards

In the beginning of 2015, the IEEE Standards Association approved the P1872 (Standard for Ontologies for Robotics and Automation) document, elaborated by IEEE RAS ORA WG, as a new IEEE Standard. This is the first standard elaborated by IEEE RAS! Φ – Robotics Research Group participated actively in the elaboration of this standard. This active participation was recognized by IEEE Standards Association and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society during IEEE ICRA 2015 in Seattle.

During the Standards Meeting at ICRA 2015, some Φ-members were recognized by IEEE Standards Association through plaques. And during the luncheon awards, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society recognized the same Φ-members giving them an award. See below some pictures. Congrats Φ-members for this excellent achievement!
