Título:

Open Source at Google

Abstract:
——————————————————–
Michael Hanselmann’s presentation is split in two. First he’ll talk about Google’s Open Source programs, Summer of Code, the many projects
they have been patching and releasing and some of the technology that Google uses behind the scenes. In the second half he’ll talk about Ganeti, an Open Source manager for clusters of virtual machines. Since its first public release over three years ago Ganeti has matured a lot. The talk will go briefly over important development milestones to its current state of a powerful and flexible cluster management system. Some aspects of day-to-day operations of Ganeti at Google will also be covered.
