Título: A context-risk-aware recommender system
Local: Auditório do prédio 67 – Instituto de Informática
Dia/Horário: 07 de Abril – 14:00-15:15
Resumo:
The construction of personalized or adapted applications became inescapable these last years. It passes through the consideration of what we call generally the context. The boom of the social networks and the increase of the information sources acquisition (sensors) widened the context and allow to acquire information about richer and more dynamic user. The research works, which we lead in this area, focused on modelling, learning and reasoning in order to make predictions based on this context widened to the physical world (sensors) and to the social interactions. In this talk I will present a current research work in this area: a context-risk-aware recommender system to recommend actions to the users by considering the spatio temporal context and the model of the user (including the current situation). We introduce the notion of risk level associated to every current situation of the user since it could be dangerous or inappropriate to recommend items not wished in risky situations.
