We present in this talk ongoing research in the BioElectronics department in IMS research lab. It includes projects on: neuromorphic engineering using standard and nanotechnologies, neural stimulator and rehabilitation implants, biosignal-based artificial pancreas, BioEM interaction.

Short CV:
Prof. Sylvie Renaud graduated in SUPELEC-Paris in electronics engineering in 1986. She obtained her PhD at the University of Bordeaux-France in 1990. She is currently heading the BioElectronics groups in IMS-Labs (Univ. Bordeaux, CNRS, IPB) and has a full professor position in ENSEIRB-MATMECA, where she is Dean of Reasearch in ENSEIRB-MAMECA since 2009. The research interests of her group are: analog and mixed neuromorphic VLSI; real-time hardware simulation platforms of adaptive SNN; hybrid neuroelectronic systems using macro and microelectrodes for biomedical and neuroscience applications.
