Prof. Bampi ministra Tutorial e Conferências sobre CODECs de Vídeo em Congresso Internacional em Atenas
No 17o. Congresso Internacional “IEEE Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems – ICECS 2010”, em Atenas de 12 a 15-Dezembro, o professor Sergio Bampi ministra tutorial sobre “ Algorithms and Integrated Hardware Architectures for Video Coding”. Pesquisas realizadas no INF e Delet da UFRGS desenvolveram chips para codificação H.264 que serão descritos da palestra tutorial. Serão apresentados no ICECS 2010 também 04 artigos do grupo de TV Digital, em co-autoria dos alunos do PPGC e PGMICRO com os professores A. Susin e S. Bampi:
a) “A low-cost hardware architecture Binarizer Design for the H.264/AVC CABAC Entropy Coding”, b) “A high throughput CAVLC hardware architecture with Parallel Coefficients Processing for HDTV H.264/AVC Encoding”, c) “Homogeneity and Distortion-Based Intra Mode Decision Architecture for H.264/AVC”, d) “ High Performance Architectures for the Arithmetic Encoder of the H.264/AVC CABAC Entropy Coder”.
