Vagas para Professor Adjunto em Computação
O Instituto de Informática está com dois concursos públicos abertos para o cargo de Professor Adjunto no regime de dedicação exclusiva. Candidatos devem possuir doutorado em Computação (ou área afim). Além disso, espera-se que o candidato tenha um histórico consolidado (ou grande potencial) de pesquisa científica e excelência em ensino. O processo de seleção envolve exames orais e escritos que podem ser realizados em inglês ou em português.
Há duas vagas disponíveis para as áreas de especialização a seguir:
– Inteligência Artificial (1 vaga)
– Linguagens de Programação e Compiladores (1 vaga)
As inscrições podem ser feitas pela internet até a data limite de 16 de junho de 2014.
O salário mensal inicial (bruto) é de R$ 8.344,64.

Tenure-Track for Associate Professor in Computing
Faculty Positions at the Institute of Informatics, UFRGS, Brazil

The Institute of Informatics invites applications for tenure-track full-time faculty positions at Associate Professor level (“Professor Adjunto”). A PhD in Computer Science or a related area is required. All applicants must either hold great promise for or have a significant track record of research as well as teaching excellence. The selection process involves oral and written exams which can be taken in either English or Portuguese.
There are two positions available for the areas of specialization below:
– Artificial Intelligence (1 position)
– Programming Languages and Compilers (1 position)
The closing date for applications is the 16th of June 2014.
Initial (gross) monthly salary is 8,344.64 BRL (about 2700 EUR or 3700 USD).
