Resumo: This work proposes a methodology to compare the performance of different architec- tures’ CPUs on HPC applications while considering architectural differences that could not be exploited without an appropriately configured environment. This goal is achieved by using the testing tool provided by Chameleon, which implements parallel dense linear algebra routines, supported by the runtime system StarPU, which implements task-based parallelism to support executions on heterogeneous architectures. The proposed method- ology is then put to the test to analyse the Intel hybrid CPUs introduced by their Alder Lake microarchitecture.
