Call for Tutorials

We invite you to participate in the 25th Computer Graphics International Conference (CGI'2007) will be held from May 30 to June 2, 2007, in the historical city of Petropolis, in Rio de Janeiro state, BRAZIL. This is the first time that CGI will be held in South America! CGI'2007 will take place right after the Brazilian Symposium on Virtual Reality, a high class conference on its 8th edition.

CGI is sponsored by the Computer Graphics Society, and co-sponsored by the Brazilian Computer Society. Rio de Janeiro is a well-known touristic destination and an exciting place to be in 2007! From July 13 through July 29 the XV Pan American Games will be held in Rio de Janeiro. Proposals for tutorial courses related to all areas of the topics of the conference are solicited for consideration and affiliation with CGI2007.
The purpose of these tutorial courses is to provide a detailed and in-depth coverage of certain areas and also expose the audience to recent advances in them.

Submission Details

A tutorial course proposal should contain the following information:

1. Tutorial Course title
2. The names and affiliations of the organizers. They should also provide a brief description of their background, and related publications and research
3. A short description of the content of the tutorial course (e.g., table of contents)
4. Lenght of the course (less than half-day)
5. The URL of the tutorial course web site

Researchers are invited to submit tutorial courses proposals using the site

Proposals due January 27th, 2007
Notification of acceptance February 20th, 2007
Tutorial Courses May 30th - June 1st, 2007
