The conference will be held at CGEA - Centro General Ernani Ayrosa in Itaipava. Itaipava is about 20 kilometers from downtown Petropolis which is the closest city nearby. Please note that there is no public transport from Petropolis to Itaipava, only taxi (one way fare from Petropolis to Itaipava about R$50).
If you want to reach Petropolis by bus from Galeão airport take a bus to Rodoviária (Bus Depot) Novo Rio. These buses run every half an hour and the fare is R$ 6,50. From Rodoviária Novo Rio there is a line that goes to Petropolis every 40min and the fare is R$13. The Bus ride to Petropolis should be about 1h30min.
Besides the infrastructure for the conference, the CGEA has also rooms available for guests who wish to stay at the conference venue.
